After losing her shinigami powers and becoming human, Matsunami Shinoda tries to live a normal life in the world of the living. Being completely blind, she is usually escorted by her seeing eye dog Imouto-chan (little sister), a spiritually aware pug capable of seeing spiritual beings. For a long while, Matsunami was unaware that Imouto-chan is actually a boy. In this pic, he is tuckered out and being carried by her. In the current storyline, after Nami regains her powers, Imouto-chan is living in the Shinoda clan temple being taken care of by Saitou while she is out training or on missions.

After all the battles, and all the trials she endured as a Shinigami, a casual looking Matsunami is something I'd never expect! And is that a cello case I see on her back? I hadn't known she plays the cello.

As for the pug, great choice! Too bad I don't own one.

Still, I like this version of Matsunami, and hopefully we can see more like this in the future!
